Changes to Programs and Facility Hours
This is a challenging time in our community and around the world as we learn more about the COVID-19 (also known as the Coronavirus). We are monitoring the global and local situation, as we receive updates from Middlesex-London Health Unit, along with updates from both the Province of Ontario and the Government of Canada.
Kidscape and the Boys and Girls Club takes the concerns about the Coronavirus seriously. The health and safety of visitors and our employees are extremely important.
From March 16th until further notice
Kidscape will be closed to the public until further notice. As of now, Life Skills Academy and all of Kidscape's programs will be cancelled, including Date Nights, Day Camps and ceramic painting.
Summer Day Camps
For many years the Boys and Girls Club of London has offered a variety of camps for children in our community. This year, with the onset of COVID-19, camps at the Club will be significantly impacted.
With the uncertainty that surrounds camps this summer, we have made the decision to refund all camp fees and cancel current registrations. Refunds will be done automatically and may take a few weeks to process.
While we still hope to run some form of camp, any decision to move forward will be based on recommendations from health authorities. If we do have camps, we know that they will be much smaller and more limited in space. It will also have an impact on the theme or type of camp that is offered and even where it will be offered.
As we move forward, please continue to check the Club's website for more details. We will be updating the site as we learn more about what we can offer. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

There are measures we can take now to prevent the spread of illness. Please take care of your health and protect others by doing the following:
Practice regular and thorough handwashing especially after coughing, sneezing, blowing your nose; after using the washroom or changing diapers; before preparing food or eating.
Practice good cough etiquette by coughing into your sleeve or into a tissue.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth as once contaminated, hands can transfer the virus and from there, the virus can enter your body and make you sick.
If you are sick, please stay home, including if you are taking medications to mask symptoms (such as fever, coughing or shortness of breath).
